Aaron Shiel Rogers: A Rising Star in Liberian Gospel Music
Aaron Shiel Rogers was born on March 21, 1995, in Divine Town, a small town located between the two principal cities of Liberia, Sinkor and Paynesville. Growing up in a family of ten, Aaron’s life took a significant turn when his father passed away in 2000, leaving his mother to raise him and his seven siblings on her own.
Aaron attended Red-Cross Preparatory School and St. Andrew Lutheran Junior High School before eventually graduating from the Haywood Mission Institute in 2016. Currently, he is pursuing his studies at the African Methodist Episcopal University located on Camp Johnson Road in Monrovia, Liberia’s capital.
Aaron is a Liberian gospel musician, worship leader, songwriter, and music teacher. He showed an interest in music at a young age and began his musical career as a drummer. For over 10 years, he played the drums before transitioning to playing the piano and singing in his choir, where he eventually became the lead vocalist.
Aaron’s passion for music and his talent as a musician have made him a rising star in the Liberian gospel music scene. His dedication to his craft and his faith are evident in the music he creates, and he continues to inspire others with his music and his message of hope and love.
Musical Journey of Faith and Music:
Aaron Shiel Rogers is a Liberian gospel musician, worship leader, songwriter, and music teacher who officially started his music career in 2017. He recorded his first single, “It’s Yours,” and hosted his first major event, an album pre-launch party named after his first single.
In 2017, Aaron felt the Lord leading him to spend more time in the secret place, develop his capacity, and wait on His timing. He did not record any songs that year, but he wrote many. After years of waiting, growing, and supporting many great gospel musicians in Liberia, God told him that it was time to start releasing a sound.
Aaron hosted his second major event, “Out of the Ashes,” which was widely attended with approximately 500 people in attendance. Since then, he has written and released many beautiful songs, including Sanctify Me, Possible God, No Weapons, and His Promise.
Aaron is passionate about spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. He is the Minister of Music at Restoration Baptist Ministries on the Allison street, oldroad in Liberia.
